LOCAL GROUP WINS INTERNATIONAL AWARD
(Greenville, SC—October 19, 2007) Greenville-based American Leprosy Missions (ALM) received the coveted 2007 DMA International ECHO award for its design of fund-raising materials in the non-profit category.
The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) presented ALM president Christopher J. Doyle the prestigious Silver ECHO trophy at a black tie gala in Chicago on October 16. Howie Mandel, comedian and emcee of the television game show Deal or No Deal, hosted the event.
“What an honor for ALM to be recognized within the industry of design for such high quality and effective use of direct marketing,” said Mr. Doyle. “Our priority at ALM is to cure people with leprosy. We are reaching our target audience with an important message packaged with cutting edge design.”
ALM was awarded the ECHO for its design of the appeal “Can You Open—Major Donor Sock Package” sent to the organization’s major donors in 2006.
