Leprosy is not common in the United States. Approximately 5,000 people currently are living with leprosy, and about 150 new cases are reported each year. ALM works closely with the U.S. Public Health Services' National Hansen's Disease Program located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, helping to fund some research. Our goal is to reduce the burden of leprosy wherever it occurs. Won't you help us achieve this goal?
